About the event
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course is 2.5-3 hour classroom based course designed to help healthcare providers in-hospital and out of hospital settings recognize life threatening emergencies and provide high quality CPR.
Participants learn how to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants, with special emphasis on two-rescuer CPR use of the resuscitation mask, bag-valve mask and Automated External Defibrillator. This course is especially recommended for medical professionals, lifeguards, aerobics/fitness/sports instructors and public and private safety/security employees.
This American Heart Association certificate is valid for 2 years.
Student must pass and open book 25 question exam to receive their certification.
E-Cards are issued within 24 hours after successful completion of the course.
